Back In The Day, is a song about that voice in your head, the one that tells you there's no reason to keep going. Over a, Jerry Island, produced 90s boombap soundscape, Babble, articulates the enemy within. Describing his mind state through the slow downward spiral into the abyss, he slowly loses grip on the only thing that keeps him going, memories of better times. As the isolation inside him grows, he closes in on the point of no return, all while searching for the pieces of himself he lost over the years, back in the day.
